Morton® Safe-T-Salt® Rock Salt melts ice and snow from driveways, porches, steps and other walkways. Spread Morton® Safe-T-Salt® rock salt while snow is falling. This will prevent snow and ice from becoming hard packed and sticking to walkway surfaces. Sufficient melting should occur within 30 minutes then promptly remove the slush formed. Do not use on brick or flagstone walkways having mortar joints.

Morton® Ice Melter Blend penetrates rapidly to break through ice and snow's bond with pavement, is dyed blue for easy application to reduce excessive usage.
