Lafayette Masonry Supply, Inc. was originated in 1966 as a stone and brick masonry supply. Striving to meet the needs of builders and masons in the Greater Lafayette area, Lafayette Masonry worked hard to provide their customers with the highest quality products, services and equipment available to date. The company was started by E. Robert and Bette Brown and has since continued with their two sons, Greg and Doug following them into the business in 1974 & 1976. Doug and Greg have continued the family tradition of quality service, superior products and extensive knowledge of the masonry industry. The family tradition will continue with Doug's sons, Zach and Casey, now working in the business.

Lafayette Masonry built a name with its products for masonry applications as well as fireplace products. It supplied and maintained several types of wood and gas fireplace inserts, gas logs and all the accessories associated with fireplaces. In early 2005, Lafayette Masonry strategically separated its fireplace shop supply division from the building materials supply division, with Bette's two daughters and grandson operating the new business separately from Lafayette Masonry Supply, Inc. as "A Fire's Place".

Lafayette Masonry has been a Lafayette fixture for three decades and is poised to remain for decades to come.
